My heart is so full. Our son has been with Bubbalu for one year and it feels like it was longer.
Thank you Elaine and your staff for all you do for the children.
I appreciate you so much. đ©·đŒ Bubbalu was really the best decision I have ever made. đđđ
Dear Principal Elaine,
Due to our recent relocation to the south of Cape Town, it is with a heavy heart that I must inform you that my son, will no longer be able to attend Bubbalu Daycare Centre because of the travel.
I wanted to take this opportunity to express my deepest gratitude to you and your dedicated staff for the exceptional care and education provided to son during his time at Bubbalu. The nurturing environment, the attentive teachers, and the stimulating activities have contributed immensely to his growth and development. Our son has truly thrived under your guidance, and we are forever grateful for the positive impact you've had on his early years.
It is with a mixture of sadness and excitement that we embark on this new chapter of our lives. While we are saddened to leave the wonderful community at Bubbalu, we are also looking forward to exploring new opportunities in our new neighborhood. As we search for a new school for son, we will carry with us the fond memories and valuable experiences gained from his time at Bubbalu.
Once again, I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to you and the entire Bubbalu Daycare Centre team. Your dedication, professionalism, and genuine care for the well-being of the children are truly commendable. We will always remember Bubbalu as a place where son's curiosity was nurtured, his individuality celebrated, and his potential encouraged.
Thank you once again for everything you have done for son. We will cherish the memories created at Bubbalu and the lasting impact you have had on his early childhood education.
Warmest regards,
Gabriel
Dear Principal Elaine
Bubbalu Day Care Centre has been one of the most excellent Grade. R schools for my child.
It has been one of the most difficult years with the Covid pandemic that took place however, Bubbalu has made sure that my child's educational skills will not be affected. But rather enhanced greatly, with online learning that took place by helping him stay busy.
Teacher Madeline made sure to give great learning excerises in class to help develop my child's skills, to prepare him for great learning success. I am very pleased with his learning outcome, my child got accepted for the grade1 class, his learning skills are excellent.
I was relieved on how Covid19 safety protocols were handled excellently, done daily diligently. It has been a safe, very clean environment all year round for my child.
Communication with parents was done frequently, responses were done quickly. The staff was friendly at all times and very understanding, always there to support and help my child.
I will recommend Bubbalu to any parent, my child's experience has been great his learning has been excellent, it's been a very safe and happy environment, I do not regret having my child at Bubbalu.
Greatly thankful and appreciate everything you and the staff at Bubbalu have done for my child. Blessings to you and the staff, God bless!
S. Smith
Good Morning Elaine and Marc
I would just like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the wonderful years that S has spent at Bubbalu.
They say a mother knows and from the 1st day that I met you Elaine and you took us through the school after visiting so many I was immediately at ease and felt welcome at the school and I knew that was the school I wanted my Princess Summer to attend.
You know every childâs name and every parent that comes through your schools gate. This was indeed more a family that we were apart of more so than a school.
Thank you to you and Marc for your concern, understanding and above all your assistance during Covid and the years to follow, which eventually resulted in me being retrenched. Both of you have been an amazing. I think God everyday for bringing you into my life. (Everything happens for a reason)
I hope our paths cross again some day but for now I say thank you and God Bless.
The Best Day Care that any parent could choose for their Prince or Princess.

This is such an amazing school.
The staff is the absolute highlight for me. They're friendly, helpful, and each staff member (from teachers to kitchen staff) knows my child by name. Everyone is involved with your child, not just the class teacher.
They have an array of different topics that they cover but you're given a heads up if anything is needed.
Meals are included, that's breakfast and lunch with a little something nice, so you only have to send snacks with to school.
Lots of play for the kids, and they also interact with classes of different age groups.
They save all the drawings or art that your child does while in class and give it to you at the end of the term.
The 'report' card is the cutest thing thing ever (my child is 18 months old).
They helped wean my child off of her pacifier and stuffed toy for sleeping.
All in all, don't hesitate to get your child in here.
You 100% won't regret it
The Viljoen family
Awesome activities during the day with the kids. extra mural activities are also done during the day so saves parents time doing it after school hours. Elaine the principle is passionate and loving and has a genuine interest in all the kids that attend. The premises is secure and safe with cctv and biometric access.
The Adams family
Wonderful school, very organised school, principle is lovely. You are hardly asked for extra money for anything, unlike other pre schools. Meals included are home cooked, which is fantastic. The principle also handles issues very well. Notifications of class events are sent out long in advance & the principle sends out a calender which is so great! I love the fact that the playground has synthetic grass!đŹ I have no complaints whatsoever.
The Matthews family
The owner very helpful and loves kids. My kids heve been there since they we 2 years old and never had any big issues and they love being there than stay at home.

Hi Elaine
We are so sad that our daughter has to leave Bubbalu (She loves her castle school).
Bubbalu should really consider having branches in multiple areas. For people like us who need to move and move with Bubbalu, because the standard has been set so high.
Our daughter had such a great time here.
The staff is amazing with so much love in their hearts and a caring mind-set. The teachers really make an effort to engage the kids and develop them in a very individualised way. The attention to detail for the kids is really above the top. (Even the slightest change with our daughter teacher Sunell and Teacher Jade would pick it up immediately without us having to tell them.) The management is really committed to providing a safe, fun, and loving environment. The school does not only teach school work but a variety of skills, including manners, Christian values and sensory play amongst many others.
We are very thankful to you Elaine and the whole team at Bubbalu. May our paths cross again in the future. May God continue blessing you for all the good work you are doing for the children.
Kind Regards
Ngazibini and Thabo Deyi
Good Day Elaine
Trust that you are well.
I thought to send an email after handing in H and E's forms for next year with a heavy heart.
Firstly we are and have been extremely happy with Babbalu for the past few years.
You and your staff does an amazing job daily , the way you navigated and managed through an entire pandemic ensuring our kids safety, I am in awe of it honestly.
Our kids are really happy with their teachers and so are we as parents.
We had to make a difficult decision with regards to their schooling which sadly led us to move both of them for next year. As we looking to move to the Bellville / Durbanville area.
I wanted to let you know we and our kids are really happy and it wasn't an easy decision , however we needed to think about our kids future and sadly Kuils River has no schools to offer us and Brackenfell schools won't accept us due to our address .

Dear Elaine
It is with immense sadness that we, Duane and Melissa Matthews, parents of Emma Matthews, have to inform you that we have to terminate Emmaâs education at Bubbalu Daycare from January 2020.
It was our initial intention to keep Emma at Bubbalu up til Grade R, but the primary school of our choice requires scholars to start education from Grade R in order to have a place in Grade 1.
Having said this, we would like to commend you for running such a fantastic pre-school. Since Emma started at Bubbalu in 2016 we have not had any negative issues with the school or with the way you run things. We have always been happy and felt at peace with leaving our daughter in the care of you and your teachers. Emma has always loved going to school and many times didnât want to go home in the afternoons by running to the playground when we fetch her and not wanting to leave.
We are glad we found Bubbalu in 2016 and our hearts are honestly sore to say goodbye, as this stage of a pre-schoolerâs life is incredibly influential as it prepares him/her for primary school and the coming schooling years; and these are the years where friendships are made as well as good relationships with teachers.
Thank you for always being involved in the happenings of the classrooms and each childâs incidents and responding well with the necessary tools.
Thank you Bubbalu for giving Emma enjoyable pre-schooling years!
Sincerely,
Duane & Melissa Matthews

Groete

Dear Elaine,
It is with a heavy heart that I inform you that Zack will no longer be attending Bubbalu in 2018.
I have enrolled him in in his new school where he will, God willing, continue his school education.
I have the highest regard for the way in which you manage your school. I have always had peace of mind when dropping Zack off. Your staff have instilled a biblical foundation which I know are not your responsibilities at all â Zack constantly sings the bible songs taught in class. Thank you for loving and supporting my son during 2016. To sum up, thank you so much for the quality care that you have given.
You may potentially have another little Engelbrecht coming your way towards the end of 2018!
Kindest regards
Waldette Engelbrecht

Dear Elaine,
I wanted to do this before the rush of the silly season starts and while Iâve still got the time to give it the attention it deserves.
It is with great trepidation and a bit of sadness that I filled in my form to let you know that Andrew and Cailyn will not be back next year. It was a difficult decision to make for them to leave Bubbalu and even more so becausethereâs nothing wrong
I want to thank you for creating a home away from home for Andrew over the last 9years and for Cailyn in the 7 years that theyâve been there. When your children tell you that Bubbaluâs curry or spaghetti is better than what theyget at home (which is not too bad if I say so myself), then you know theyârehappy. When they want to stay longer when we collect them in the afternoon,to the point of tears when Cailyn was younger, then you know theyâre happy.
Thank you for all the love, hugs, plasters, advice, encouragement, guidance, fun, structure and so much more that they received while they were in your care whenI couldnât do it for them. Thank you for Christian principles and all theadditional effort you took with homework and exams. Thank you for all theextras like hot chocolate with marshmallows, ice-cream, sprayers on a hot day,Wally and all the other speakers you arranged to teach them about safety.Thank you for creating a healthy and clean environment for them to spend theirdays at â this is what occurred to me the most when I was looking for a daycarecentre many years ago!
From a personal perspective and you being a mom with an older child, I want to say thank you for all the chats, advice and guidance youâve given me. Iâm going to miss you and the teachers that have been with the children over a number of years, your friendly cooks and cleaning staff.
Thereâs too much to say for walking a path for 9 years with BubbaluâŠ
Itâs most certainly not good-bye as Iâm sure Iâll be seeing you in passing.
Kind regards
Barbara
Hi Elaine
Thank you to you, Lisa and Caronise for the wonderful job you did with Cadon this year.
As you know he was with my mom for 4 years before coming to Bubbalu and I must say itâs amazing all the things heâs learnt this year.
Thank you once again.
A blessed Christmas and happy new year to you, Marc, Lisa, Caronise and the rest of the staff.
Regards
Carmen
Bubbalu is nie 'n dagsorg nie - it's a home away from home.
Cheryl and I would like to thank the two of you (Elaine and Mark) and all the staff at Bubbalu for taking care of our princess over the past three years. She has grown from a little âApieâ into a beautiful âDolphinâ. Learning and making new friends along the way. Fond memories, good experiences and friendship bonds that, Iâm sure she will carry along with her as she grows. We could not have hoped for a better learning environment for our little girl.
Thank you for everything youâve done for our princess.
Kindest regards and our most heartfelt gratitude,

Good Day Elaine
This e-mail serves as a one month notice for Amahle Nzimande.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Bubbalu Team for the excellent job done from 2009-2011 (3 years).
My children enjoyed and loved the school a lot.I felt comfortable to leave my children on the hands of such loving and caring ladies.
I recall the day I came in , troubled by the fact that my children were coming from rural area where they were staying with their granny and were speaking Zulu. I was concern on how they will adapt and survive on the new environment, but you assured me that I had nothing to worry about as you also have children of your own and you are familiar with how the childrenâs anxiety.
Because of people like you and your Team, I enjoyed my stay in Cape Town. I felt at home and safe. Thank you so much.
My special thanks go to : You (for being caring , loving and friendly ), Grade R Teachers(for her advises and for striving for the best ), Lisa (Sibulelo and now Amahleâs teacher âshe is a sweetheart), Petro, former Amahleâs teachers , Marc (for his patient and professionalism), Cleaning team , catering team and extra mural activities team for bring the best out of the children.
You will always be in our hearts.

Dear Principal Elaine, and teachers Catharine and Elize
Herewith I would just like to say a very special THANK YOU!!
Thank you to Bubbalu and especially teachers Elize and Catharine, I have never seen Hayley happier since she joined your school, she is excited to go school and cannot stop chatting about the dayâs events in the evening. Not only do the teachers take exceptional care of the children, but are also approachable and open to concerns from us as parents, and also voice their concerns if they believe it is the best interest of the child, and at the end of the day this is more than parents can hope for.
We are extremely appreciative and grateful that we can say Bubbalu is Hayleysâ âHome away from homeâ where the kids are nurtured when they do not feel well, praised when they do good and reprimanded when necessary. My only regret is not sending her to Bubbalu from the very beginning!!
Thank you again and enjoy the weekend!!
Warm Regards

Hi Elaine,
My husband and I met with Catherine yesterday regarding Matthew's progress. I just thought I would let you know that we are very impressed with Catherine's approach to education and the work she has done. Her effort is commendable and her dedication to her work is obvious in the way she speaks of her learners.
Well done Catherine!

Hi Elaine,

Jy is ân fantastiese skoolhoof.

Hi Mark & Elaine
Wow! It has been a long journey since we first met the two of you and Bubbalu. You and your staff over the years have played a very important role on our childrenâs lives and we thank you for doing it with such diligence.
Lisa-Joy is really doing well at the school that she is currently attending and we know that the foundation laid by Bubbalu has a lot to do with that. This is why we know that Daniel also has a wonderful opportunity to do well when he joins his new school next year. They will both now be at Young Eagles Christian Academy in Kuils River
Once again thank you very much and we pray that you will continue to do what God has called you to do!
All the best for 2010 and beyond.
Kind regards

Ek sal julle definitief altyd onthou.

Dit was ân moeilike jaar vir ons as familie â julle hulp was so waardevol.

Good day Elaine ,
Bradley and I would also like to take this opportunity to thank you and your wonderful team for the years he spent at Bubbalu.
It has been an amazing journey to watch him grow (through good and bad times), from year to year. From potty training, to his 1st man drawing (that did not look like a man at all), to now being able to see a body, a face and all that goes with a man drawing. From crying before we get to the front door, to now running ahead.
A very special thanks to Teacher Lisa and Genice, as this, as you know has been the most challenging year.
Through all the behaviours they have shown him nothing but love, patience and kindness. It takes a special kind of person to build a relationship like that with a child other than their own, and they are special to both Tyler and us. They will always have a very special place in our hearts.
If it were up to Tyler, he would stay at Bubbalu forever, however we have explained that Bubbalu is for âbabiesâ, and he is a big boy now.
Once again Thank you for opening your doors and your hearts. May you be Blessed with many more happy years at Bubbalu!
Many Thanks
Sharon January
Dear Elaine ,
Today is my little boy last day at Bubbalu Day Care. Itâs the end of a chapter in his little life and the beginning of a new one. You have no idea the impact that you have had on his life. Let me just highlight a few moments.
When Matthew started he still drank bottle and did not eat very well. Although he was exposed to healthy food only he did not have a good appetite and drank a special formula.
He never held his bottle I would have to hold it for him. The first day back from school he held his own bottle. He was taught to be independent. If you look at his first message book out of the 10 meals for the week Matthew only ate 5. The next week he ate 10 meals. He gained 1.5 Kg within the first two months. He learned to eat 3 meals per day.
On Saturdays he would remind us at 9am he needs a snackie . He learnt routine and structure. Matthew was only 19 months old when aunty Henriette decided to potty train him and Zach. She gave me instructions on what to do at home. By November Matthew refused to wear a nappy and he was 1 and 4 months old. The Christian values you have taught my child is immeasurable. The first time we heard him sing with in church he was just over a year and he seemed to know all the words of âNo matter what I praise the Lordâ. Aunty Jacqui made my boy clever, and taught him manners and to be a real gentleman. Aunty Nicky gave good and bad feedback every single day. I knew exactly what he was up to or not up to. Then came aunty Chantel, a princess he called her. She was loving and gentle and made it so easy for me to leave him for the whole day. Aunty Freda reminded him of his grandma and he even extended breakfast invitations to her âș He was ecstatic when aunty Leandre came back. She was a familiar face and his nick name they gave him âMatty â moo âwill stick by him forever.
Aunty Renate was there throughout is time at Bubbalu and his face would light up when he tells me Aunty Nate was there today mommy.
The love, care and structure you gave my child made him a confident little boy. I am forever grateful. You have been my partner in laying the foundation and I think Matthew has a very good foundation on which he can build. You and your team will forever be a part of you Matthew is.
I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I know that because you and Marc have built your school on Godâs foundation you will prosper. I wish you the best of luck.
Regards
Ronelle Arendse
Dear Elaine,
Thank you for the regular updates about your institution's programmes.
But to be precise and vote of appreciation; thank you a lot for the GREAT, METICULOUS AND EXCELLENT service your institution offers to us. Ever since we have put Bohlale at Bubbalu, we have been having excellent service to her and to us as her parents. We truly are thrilled by your management and caring service and Bohlale always look forward to be at Bubbalu all the time. even on holidays, she enjoys going to Bubbalu.
Additionally, we would also like to notify you, sadly, that this is her last year at your institution. It has been a wonderful journey and cooperation between us (as the family) and yourselves. We've witnessed her growing very well in your very good structured institution and she has learnt a lot of valuable lessons in class and about life, e.g. being able 'om Afrikaans taal te praat', 'tel nommers in Afrikaans', etc...etc. She has mingled very well with other kids and yaa, she also possesses our diverse and respective characters as her parents. I'm quiet sad that she'll leave Bubbalu but happy at the same time because Bubbalu is part of her good an valuable stepping stone in her growth. As she goes to Brackenfell, we hope that it is not gonna be difficult for her to cope because Bubbalu equipped her with some of the important elements that can make her life a bit easier! Thank you lot for being a positive impact in her life and our life.
We thank you for everything!
Kind Regards,
Tshidiso and Morakane Khahledi
